I have gained one pound 17 weeks into this pregnancy. Given my food aversions and morning sickness, I am not surprised (although looking at my growing belly I would have guessed more.)
But I think things are about to change. I am Hungry all of the time now. One day for lunch last week I had a BLT with avocado and pasta salad. Still hungry. The husband had a slice of cheese pizza left over from a meeting so I ate that. Still hungry. A coworker took pity on me and gave me grapes and a banana. Finally, I was satisfied.
Since then I have been hungry much more than normal. I'm trying to fill up on healthy foods, lots of fruits and veggies.I graze all day, eating watermelon and cantaloupe, carrots and cucumber with ranch dressing, or cheese crackers between meals. It just doesn't seem to be enough.
What are your go-to fill up healthy fill up foods especially when pregnant?

I ate tons of fruit but I'm not the best one to give advice since I gained 45 pounds. Although you have a pretty good start so I doubt that would happen. Also string cheese and yogurt. And I never said no to any treats in the office - bad plan.
I'm 8 weeks now and alternate between awful nausea and absolutely ravenous. Totally weird to go from nauseous to starving within a minute, but it happens a lot (and usually at work where nobody knows yet!). I eat whatever I can stand - not necessarily the healthiest foods, but if I'm up for it cereal with milk is a great snack. Yogurt too. I eat a lot of english muffins. Make sure you get enough carbs and protein to fill you up for snacks! Last time I had ice cream every night and I'm going to try to avoid that this time!
i really didn't eat much that was healthy except honey nut cheerios. so i think you're doing pretty good, already! (fruit & veggies would make me nauseous & lead me to gagging, which would lead me to vomiting, etc...french fries & such went down just fine!)
I gained 17 pounds exactly with each of my three pregnancies. I was sick the first 4 months and I'm sure that's the only reason why. Anyway, my go to foods were Taco Bell and Starbucks. Had three healthy, happy babies. Probably not what a dr. would recommend but whatever. Worked for me! Feed that baby whatever it's asking for!
While straddling a fine line between "not too terribly bad" and "you probably could do better," I always went for pasta.
I also duped myself into thinking I was prepping for marathon such was my delusion.
